The North Carolina Promise Tuition Plan is available at four universities in the UNC System: 

• Elizabeth City State University
• Fayetteville State University
• The University of North Carolina at Pembroke
• Western Carolina University
  
  

The NC Promise Tuition Plan reduces tuition costs for undergraduate students at these institutions to $500 per semester for in-state students and $2,500 per semester for out-of-state students. This includes returning, transfer, and online students. 

The NC Promise Tuition Plan was established to increase access to a quality university education by reducing student costs. However, campus-related fees and on-campus residency costs are not included in the reduced tuition.   For more information, please visit:
